I recently assembled my gaming computer and am experiencing problems with a game. Fortnite runs at approximately 150+ frames per second, yet it feels sluggish—I don’t understand why. Initially, I possessed 12 GB of RAM in my system, but the game consistently crashed. Consequently, I removed two of my four 2GB DDR3 RAM sticks, resulting in a total of 8 GB of identical RAM (all sticks operate at 1600MHz). This allowed me to play without crashing for five hours, with everything functioning smoothly. However, my audio suddenly cuts out, and the game begins to exhibit glitches before crashing again. Please advise: are these issues related to the RAM sticks?

Apologies for my imperfect English.

Regarding a discussion thread intended for problem-solving, you neglected to provide your system specifications. Please outline them in the following format:

CPU:
Motherboard:
RAM:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Include the version number of your operating system. Could you explain how your system has 12GB of memory? Was it a combination of different components?
