I meant to eliminate AMD graphics drivers completely, not just reinstall them. You only require the chipset driver, not the Radeon, since you're using an Nvidia card. Also, make sure to adjust the BIOS and turn off the AMD integrated graphics to ensure only the discrete GPU is active.
And once more, could you clarify what kind of "stutter" we're referring to? A minor frame rate drop or a complete freeze that also affects the audio?

Apologies about the username—there was a mistake (it got fixed). I wasn’t aware that we wouldn’t need the AMD Radeon drivers if we’re using a Nvidia GPU. I thought I’d have to install them with the AMD processor, thanks for making it clear. I’ll delete the Radeon graphics driver.
At first, I only noticed a slight drop in frame rate. Recently though, I’ve experienced freezing issues that also affected the sound. I think this might be due to setting EXPO in BIOS to full speed (6000 MTS), which can cause instability if left at maximum. I lowered it to 5800 MTS and the sound glitch has stopped. I’m hoping I won’t encounter this problem again. I’m unsure what to do if it happens once more.
Regarding the micro stutter, I feel it’s a bit better now after installing the chipset driver. Still, I occasionally see short pauses, but they’re longer now and seem normal for these unoptimized games with the RTX 50 series.
I also want to know if enabling X3D gaming mode in BIOS is helpful. Would it make a difference? Or could it cause problems? I don’t have a clear answer from online sources.
Your RAM cas latency should be suitable for handling 6000 MT/s CL30, which is ideal for the 9800X3D. Ensure the RAM operates at 1.4 v after enabling expo; if it runs at 1.35, it likely indicates an XMP kit optimized for Intel boards and may not maintain stability at that speed. In such cases, increasing the voltage to 1.4 v should resolve the issue.
The X3D gaming mode turns off the second non-X3D CCD during gameplay, which is irrelevant for the 9800X3D as it only features one CCD (unlike Ryzen 9 X3Ds with two CCDs). Additionally, this mode also disables SMT, which can slightly boost performance in some games but severely impacts multi-threaded performance. Therefore, this setting probably won't significantly help with the 9800X3D.
The RAM CAS Latency is CL 38. The supplier's site confirms compatibility with XMP and EXPO, specifying a voltage of 1.35V. Would you like to raise the voltage to 1.4V?
If you have problems at 6000 MT/s then yes. 6000 MT/s CL38 should not cause any issues (CL38 is a pretty high latency for 6000 MT/s so it should not be hard to run).
I would enable EXPO, leave the clock at 6000 and increase the voltage to 1.4 v. See if it improves anything. If the sound glitch comes back then just go back to your previous settings.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who replied and offered assistance—really, you’ve all done a great job.
The microstutters have dropped noticeably. In fact, I didn’t hear any stutter during about 40 minutes of gaming. It did occur briefly afterward, but that’s probably normal now.
For anyone else dealing with the same problem, here’s a quick rundown of what I did to resolve it:
- Uninstalled GPU drivers using DDU and installed new NVIDIA drivers
- Removed Radeon Graphics Drivers since I don’t need them (using a Nvidia GPU)
- Installed AMD chipset drivers
- Updated BIOS and cleared the CMOS
- Updated SSD firmware
- Turned off unnecessary startup apps via Task Manager
- Enabled EXPO in BIOS
- Disabled hardware acceleration in Discord
- Set Shader Cache to 10 GB in NVIDIA Global Settings using the NVIDIA App
