I owned a Dell M1330 laptop before. I also used it to play Bioshock. One day it shut down on its own, and I couldn't restart it. It wasn't a coincidence—this machine was in poor shape.

It causes the computer to lag too, but the emulator works well with Chrome—everything feels smooth.
