Are all your system audio settings directing sound through your headset microphone?
Specs:
CPU: Intel i5-12400F
Mobo: B760M-E DDR4
OS: Windows 11
Headset: JBL (exact model is unknown)
So i have an issue where my audio plays through my headset's microphone even when I turn my headset volume to 0. How i test this is by going in discord, play a Youtube video and see if my border goes green.
For some reason when i push my output format to anything other than 48000hz, it causes it to do this.
The audio of everything on max volume 100% in sound properties is still way to soft in windows 11. I tried using APO Equalizer for boosting to a louder volume(fxsound as well), it also triggers the audio playing through my mic (regardless of format)
Things I have tried:
Uninstalled and reinstalled realtek audio driver
Tried using no realtek audio driver
Swapped between front and rear ports of PC.
Enabled and disabled enchantments.
Disabled and enabled discord "bypass" feature
Tried standard, krisp and none in discord.
Setting the threshold for input higher in discord.
Made sure all audio is 100% in properties but it was still to soft.
Made sure cables are plugged in properly.
Things I haven't tried
(will have to try later today when i get home, unknown if they will work):
Using 1 of my front ports and rear ports rather than having both at the rear or front
Plugging in my input into my monitor(might work but not sure if it will fix my low volume issue)
I do use aux extender cables, so eliminating them might also work, but will introduce the problem of short cables.
I'm very noob when it comes to APO, so I haven't seen any input options / options that may eliminate the audio playback problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
