It wasn't the fix that worked. Switching to CSM instead of UEFI stopped the artifacts in BIOS, but driver timeouts persisted. Running DDU in safe mode with a fresh install didn’t resolve the issue. After reinstalling drivers only, the crashes continued. I tested Cinebench and Heaven—both ran smoothly, though CPU and GPU temperatures were high. I read that AMD released a chipset driver update yesterday with bug fixes; it might be the cause. I plan to apply it later. Any suggestions on next steps?

I reviewed several posts similar to mine where the issue stemmed from XMP settings. They noted a connection to Intel-to-AMD conversion. After disabling the XMP profile in BIOS, the system stabilized. Currently, the RAM operates at 2333 MHz instead of the expected 3200, but it works fine. Now I need to learn how to increase the RAM capacity, which is unfamiliar to me.

To boost RAM performance without using XMP, use the maximum supported speed (like 3200MHz) or accept a slower rate (around 2333MHz), which is acceptable. You might see better than 5% improvement in gaming response. Keep in mind that the newest driver isn’t always the most compatible one—this is something to consider. Have you checked the driver that came with your GPU? The 74C model can enter a reboot mode, so increase GPU fan speed to 100% at around 60°C.
