I have been trying to fix this for a week. I've checked all the forums and tried everything. Every time I start Rust, my whole computer stops working and says "cannot launch game". I even ran the task manager while running the game. Both of my hard drives (SSD) hit 100% usage right after starting Rust. Nothing else is doing that. I have already:
- Tried reinstalling Steam and Rust
- Installed new graphics card drivers
- Reset Windows completely
- Wiped and reformatted the gaming drive
- Checked if antivirus software worked
- Made sure my RAM is clean
- Checked both hard drives with Windows

My power supply seems fine, but even after a full restart of my computer I have no idea what's wrong except maybe the RAM. Since both of my SSDs are showing 100%, that makes me think something is wrong with my memory sticks. If I can't find an easy fix soon, I'm going to start buying new parts lol.

PLEASE HELP ME, I AM GOING CRAZY:
Motherboard: X570 AORUS ELITE
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
GPU: 1070ti
RAM: 16GB 3200mhz
Windows SSD: 250GB
Gaming SSD: 1TB

How much storage space does my SSD have? Is there a virus on it?

I am coming from rust forums because I keep running into this exact problem. When I start up a game, my computer freezes for a few seconds before showing an error: "Failed to start the game (2)." I tried fixing things in every possible way, but moving the game to another drive only helped a little bit. Now it launches fine, but freezing is still happening. I really don't know what's causing this. What's strange is that we have the same CPU and motherboard: an X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI and a Ryzen 7 5800x.

I ran a check from Windows Security, both the online and offline versions, and they showed no problems. Here is the link to the video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdvdNVCiP-o

Hmm... that's really weird... I think we'll have to look for a solution, buddy.
