I've been using the pulsefire haste for nearly a year, but recently my mouse has started disconnecting unexpectedly. It hasn't been damaged, there are no broken cables or kinks, everything seems normal. Occasionally, it drops without any input, sometimes for just a short time or even longer than 5 seconds. I've updated the firmware, changed the ports, and even reset the mouse to factory settings. I checked forums on Reddit where others reported similar issues—some only disconnect during fast movements, others have the same problem without needing to move the mouse at all. Some users mentioned that after replacing the mouse, the issue still happens about once or three times. Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?
I might understand why now but I’m unsure how electronics actually function. I examined the mouse because of its honeycomb structure, and there’s dust accumulation plus some debris. I haven’t touched the interior for over a year. Am I on the right path, or am I just making things up? If it’s correct, it could help others who face the same problem, as people usually say this issue arises after several months of use—typically around six months or more. This gives enough time for dust to build up (depending on the environment).
If anyone can let me know if I’m being foolish, please do—I’m considering disassembling and cleaning it, but I don’t want to do it without a good reason since I might void the warranty.
