I suspect your understanding of typical performance and temperature changes might be off. Your readings seem standard for an unvolted 5900x stock. For a fuller picture, track all core clock speeds together with temperatures—just one metric won’t capture the complete story. Consider running Cinebench R23 to get a clearer benchmark.

What temperatures are being produced? Can you hear any sound coming out of the enclosure?

Available? Your issue is clear. Strong performance doesn’t always mean quiet operation.

That's quite a high temperature—are you seeing this under stress?

I just returned from work and will start getting ready. I’ll power through Linpack Xtreme, expecting high heat but also seeing the CPU handle 245w PPT. I’ll let it relax a bit and run a short 3D test too. Everything will run at full fan speed.

This would be great if it worked, but I need to push really hard for it to reach 90. I'm well above the average. The stock is not strong.

To reach 5150Mhz, check the CPU settings and ensure thermal limits aren't restricted. If overheating persists, consider cooling solutions or firmware updates.
