There’s a similar option called GarageBand for Windows. You can connect a keyboard and record music like you do on GarageBand. Regarding your Mac, the original GarageBand for Mac started with macOS Catalina (10.15) in 2018. If you need something more affordable, there are free or low-cost alternatives available.

Have you tried your mac and seen if it works? Hackintosh was the way I got it, it’s been a struggle getting it to function, but now it’s much simpler.

It seems the latest version of GarageBand is only available starting at 10.9, and I’m not sure how to access older releases. You might need to check the app store or contact the developer for alternatives.
