Apply super glue to CPU cooler pins for a secure fix.

Hello, I previously attached a CPU cooler with broken pins to a motherboard. After removing it, three-quarters of the pins came off and stuck inside. I've tried acetone and rubbing alcohol, but the super glue didn't melt. Would using a heated needle be a viable option to soften the adhesive?

The CPU cooler was super glued together. Are those pins broken? Clarify what you mean by "pins" for a clearer answer. A photo would help a lot.

This board is e-waste... it’s not even worth the expense of acetone to attempt recovery.

It wasn't the best time... I assumed it was about the motherboard or CPU pins, not the cooler ones.

I was trying to figure out what the original poster intended, but honestly, I wasn’t sure. Considering the situation, it might just be a hopeless effort if we're dealing with a lot of plastic and super glue stuck together. Drilling it out could be dangerous, and it seems like a mistake to make in the first place.
