Epson Scan 2. (January 20, 2022 - Wow, the company does not put build#!? Not even version #!)
Anyone know how to create multiple page PDF scans?
In older versions of Epson Scan, the user could click-Multiple pages, the software would scan a page, then pause and let the user choose: Edit, Add a page, Save, Cancel.
Now, when the Image Format is set to PDF there seems to be 2 choices:
Page Number: __ Create file with all pages
__ Select number to make file (settable number here)
But with either choice, the V600 scans 1 page, saves it and it's done. The next scan will create a totally new file.
The user must compile the single pages manually with other software to create a multiple page PDF.
Doesn't make much sense with PDFs which are usually multiple pages.
What am I missing?
Did it function previously or is this a fresh configuration?
Are you employing the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)?

In any scenario, attempt reinstalling the drivers and software.
Did it function before or is this a completely new configuration? It performed well with the earlier version of Epson Scan, but the latest seems to be a full overhaul. I keep wondering if I’m missing something important. Are you using the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)? No. The equipment includes an Epson Photo scanner V600 and a MacBook Pro Mid-2012. Although I also own an ADF scanner and often switch between them using a selector in the app’s control panel. This makes me question if there’s another iteration of Epson Scan 2 available. Thank you for the links, and yes, I’ll reinstall the drivers. Best wishes, Ralston.
