I bought a new motherboard and CPU yesterday and installed everything. Everything functioned properly until I accidentally saved a memory overclock in the BIOS. That triggered an error and now my system boots with lights but shows a black screen. I removed the CMOS battery and attempted to jump the JBAT1 pins using a screwdriver, but since I don’t have a jumper cap, it didn’t help and the device remains non-functional. The motherboard does include a BIOS flashback feature, but I’m unsure if that would resolve the issue. My mouse and keyboard are also not working. Someone could assist me with this problem.
I tried it for 15 seconds but it didn’t work. I left it out for a few hours, put it back in, and still nothing happened.
