Application request control issue 1000 (0xc0000005 without crash)?
The game frequently logs this specific error message: Faulting module name: rocketleague.exe. No dll. Up to now, I've only encountered this issue within this title. I understand this appears to be an access violation to RAM. What matters most is that the application doesn't terminate unexpectedly.
The situation revolves around the game's frequent fluctuations—such as speed adjustments, input changes, and occasional graphical instability—not microstutters. In my view, these factors are likely linked, meaning the error code coincides with the game's behavior. I've experimented extensively, and I'll go into detail later. At present, I believe restarting the game repeatedly or creating a new Epic Games account might be the solution. Alternatively, I considered using Superfetch. However, if these measures don't resolve the matter after all, it could indicate a unique compatibility issue between my system and the game, or perhaps something else entirely.
I've checked various aspects: hardware tests (OCCT, Cinebench, Memtest86, Testmem5), RAM replacement, another monitor, fast boot settings, clearing CMOS, numerous software adjustments, driver versions (from ASUS and offline installs), firewall and security settings, BIOS updates from Gen 4 to Gen 3, running the game as administrator, disabling certain features, and even trying Superfetch. I've consulted Nvidia, Epic Games, Microsoft, and ASUS support.
My computer specifications are: ASUS B660M Plus WiFi D4 (newest BIOS 3801), i5-12400F CPU, DDR4 4000MHz Trident Z RAM, RTX 3070 Ti GPU, 750w PSU, Kingston 1TB SSD, Windows 11 24H2 (also tried Windows 10), Dell G2723H monitor, Irid cooling solution.
After thorough checks, no hardware faults were detected. The issue seems software-related or tied to recent changes. I remain skeptical about the problem persisting even after multiple restarts, and I'm open to further troubleshooting steps.
verify your internet speed, latency, and reliability
are you connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, LAN?
reboot your modem/router
install the latest firmware
Yeah, I didn't note these down either.
My internet speed is 1000mb/s and it's working well.
I'm using Ethernet but have a Wi-Fi motherboard, haha.
I connected to another router but the same error persisted and I restarted it too.
Regarding the firmware, I don't know how to update it.
The 0xc0000005 error seems like an access violation issue.
intel ME updated along with chipset and lan drivers?
Test RAM using memtest.
Check SSD via manufacturer’s tool; apply firmware updates if available.
Execute DISM commands to verify Windows system status.
Have you tested the stability of your Ethernet connection?
What is your ping time in milliseconds?
It might be the server you’re playing on that’s causing issues.
All drivers are current.
I checked my RAM with memtest86 stage 4/4 multiple times and found no issues.
There’s no firmware update available for my SSD.
My ping is 20, and the download speed is 80mb/s. However, I ran it on my phone.
The link provided contains the post I made. I can mention that I also tried Linux (Pop! OS) without issues, though it ran slower than on Windows.
Question – Application control error 1000 (0xc0000005 without crash)?
In Rocket League, this error appears in the event log as: Faulting module name: rocketleague.exe. No DLL found. This issue has only occurred in this game so far. I suspect it relates to an access violation to RAM. What matters is that the game does not...
