appearing solely in bios
appearing solely in bios
i've used this setup for three years without making any changes. suddenly my computer won't boot into the m.2 drive, showing an error like "unable to reach boot drive." i reset the bios, checked the ssd settings, but didn't know much about it. the m.2 appears in bios, and when i try to flash it, my files load normally while browsing to update the bios. after installing windows on the hdd, the m.2 didn't show up at all, and post-installation i noticed it on the nvme express controller. after checking online, i thought maybe the m.2 port or drive itself might be faulty. i'm unsure which part to replace since i don't have other m.2 drivers or a compatible motherboard. any advice would be greatly appreciated—thanks a lot!
my specs: ryzen 7 3700x, asus tuf b450 plus gaming 32 gb, tfx ram gtx 1080
