In my previous discussion, I encountered difficulties installing Windows. Using Rufus with the ISO and possibly resetting the BIOS resolved the issue, and I managed to complete the installation. I felt satisfied for a short time until the reboot glitch returned. The Event Viewer indicates an unexpected restart. This is my first major build, so I’m not sure what steps to take next to troubleshoot properly... I considered running performance tests (if allowed) to monitor temperatures and system behavior. A hardware diagnostic revealed it restarted after a reboot, which happened again after the original glitches. Should I enable SMART fan controls in the BIOS or keep them at full speed? I purchased 5200MHz RAM but notice the base clock is around 4800... should I skip overclocking and XMP settings? Here are the details: Ryzen 9 7900X with Noctua DH-15 cooler (both fans installed), two 1200 Redux fans (one inlet, one outlet), plus a 1500 Redux for exhaust, a 200mm front Noctua fan, and a TForce Vulcan DDR5 5200 RAM in a Thermaltake case. The case uses an MSI B650M-A Pro Wi-Fi. What advice do you have for running benchmarks? Also, how should I track temperatures? Any additional guidance on reviewing logs or Event Viewer entries? Edit: After the latest reboot, when I logged in, the screen flickered and would flash green as well.

For troubleshooting, it’s usually best to skip XMP temporarily. When did the reboot occur during hardware testing—CPU checks, memory tests, GPU evaluations? Have you tried reinserting the GPU to confirm it’s properly connected in the PCI-E port? (This could help with screen corruption problems) Did you update the BIOS to the version released on March 1, 2023?

I noticed you're using only the onboard graphics, no dedicated GPU. For benchmarking and monitoring, what software do you recommend? Also, just to clarify, I haven’t installed the newest BIOS yet—it was labeled as beta at the time, though I’ll verify that now.

You might want to consider HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID at the moment. This would help eliminate extreme overheating issues. Please verify my revised entry to confirm you have the most recent BIOS. As another option, you could install Dragon Center (the tool from your motherboard maker) and use it for PC updates. While I don’t personally use it, it may be useful for your initial setup. It also tracks hardware temperatures and more.

Motherboard specs (temps, C): CPU core runs between 50 and 73, SYS stays around 34 minutes with a max of 35, MOS sits at 35-36, PCH is 32. Settings all fans at maximum. RPMs: CPU 1501 vs 1542, PUMP 1295 vs 1325, SYS1 1267 vs 1297, SYS2 1581 vs 1623, SYS3 873 vs 894. CPU temps ©: package 44.8 to 75.4°C, CCD#0 33.4 to 75.6°C, CCD#1 32.1 to 65.0°C, Cores(MAX) 31.9 to 68.8. L3 Cache #0 30 to 40.1, Cache #1 28 to 35. Looking back, maybe a screenshot would help.

The bios update is now live and no longer labeled as beta. Also, going forward, if you have any concerns about temperatures, please let me know. I was checking device manager, CPUID, and realized two HyperV VMs were still active that I had forgotten to shut down.

It seems like you're experiencing some unusual changes with your system—new hardware and updates are happening. The temperatures appear typical, and nothing seems out of the ordinary. If everything is working smoothly, let me know so we can confirm the fix.

Completed! It seems to be handling well thus far. I'll share updates whenever I encounter another reboot. Don't forget to verify the BIOS again!
