App for Monitoring PC Performance on Windows 10
I've been using PC Meter alongside CPU and GPU meters through 8Gadgets in Windows 8.1, and everything functioned smoothly. Now with Windows 10, the gadgets display the devices but PC Meter doesn't show temperatures or GPU clocks, and the two tools don't communicate properly. Is an update necessary, or has anyone found a workaround?
I already checked the CPU and GPU meters, but they didn’t show any PC metrics like temperature. I tried everything possible—first as admin in Windows 8 compatibility mode. The network meter works well and the drives meter is accurate. I really appreciate my gadgets! I sent a report to Addgadget in case they fix it soon.
I've tested all possible solutions. Ran 8gadgets and PC Meter in Windows 8 compatibility mode, but nothing functioned. Set every gadget to default again and reinstalled everything, yet it just restarts where I left off—removing it doesn't fully erase it. Tried installing on another machine, which worked instantly. It seems the developers are still figuring it out; I hope they fix it soon.
It was the most important thing I missed about switching to Windows 10. I didn’t use any other devices, but I enjoyed monitoring my CPU and GPU performance along with temperatures.
In this situation, the system has Windows 10 Anniversary Update installed along with Build 1607, but it’s showing "PC Meter is not running!" If the person behind the issue remembers what they installed to fix it, that would help a lot. I’ve checked compatibility modes for versions 8 and 7, and tried the older build (0.3), but nothing worked. I recall seeing PC Meter functionality return after uninstalling Apple’s Bonjour service with iTunes in Windows 8.1—though I’m not sure what to say about that. Are there others who have successfully used PC Meter with their devices on Windows 10 Anniversary Update?
