so i just got apex legends and noticed my fps is stuck at 75 even though my monitor runs at 75hz, and it keeps stuttering. i’m wondering if others have had this issue too, since it seems like a new game and they’re still working on optimization. i’m just worried about it.

I understand the game is capped at 144hz, but someone suggested enabling adaptive V sync and turning off Vsync on your Nvidia GPU. I’m not sure if this would help, but I’ll give it a try. I really wish they would optimize it more since I’m getting around 70-120 FPS with a GTX 1060 3GB. It seems to be working well and stable.

I wonder the same thing too – I run an i7 8700k 2080ti and think I have all drives. It uses G sync but nothing seems to work, restarting the game doesn’t help. When I jump back a few moments in each level, it stutters and the "draw" effect appears briefly, like I’m jumping around every few seconds. This is really annoying because it makes the game unplayable :c

Same for me, but running on Ryzen [email protected] and RX580. Everyone else claims they're having the smoothest experience ever, while here the game feels almost unbearable (when moving the mouse it "jumps" those frames most of the time).

Interesting, people claim AMD graphics cards perform better with Apex.

If you come across this message and the problem persists, I checked a previous discussion about Titanfall 2 and found a solution: lower your mouse polling rate from 1000hz to 500hz. This might help because the game becomes too busy with position updates.

You're an Apex Legend, aren't you? Probably not, but you're definitely my hero. Thanks for that awesome tip—it really worked and fixed my issue. Appreciate it!

what way is there to do this? everyone insists on overclocking to 1000, not lowering it to 500hz.
