Apex Legends consistently causes my PC to crash with a blue screen error. Despite playing for approximately 35 hours, with the initial 30 hours proceeding without issue, I’m now experiencing frequent and unpredictable crashes. I've attempted several troubleshooting steps, including updating drivers, monitoring CPU and GPU temperatures (76°C and 65°C respectively), reducing graphics settings within Apex Legends, and testing other games like Forza Horizon 4 which performed flawlessly. My system specifications are as follows:
CASE: CM Storm Trooper
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k
CPU Liquid Cooling: Cooler Master Liquid Lite 240
Motherboard: MSI Z370 Tomahawk
Memory: 16GB DDR4 3200mhz G-skill tridentz RGB
HDD: 1TB HDD + 1TB SSD Samsung
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080Ti Rog Strix 11GB
OS: Windows 10 Pro - 64-bit
Main Monitor: ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27'' 165hz G-Sync
Second Monitor: BenQ 24" 3D LED XL2411Z 144hz
Configure your Windows to create memory snapshots and transfer the file to an online location, then share the link here.
An expert examining the snapshot could potentially identify a disagreement between the game’s software and its drivers or other system components.
If the issue stems from the game itself, it would affect numerous users, and a fix would be released promptly.
When it crashes, an error message appears: STOP CODE: SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION. However, I will take steps to ensure that happens.
