Hello, I built my own computer about a year ago. Recently, Apex has been crashing regularly for the past couple of months. I usually play other games or don’t play at all until this weekend, when I tried Rust and it also crashed. There are no error messages or logs in Windows, just the game shutting down completely. My PC hasn’t had any crashes or BSODs. I ran stress tests on the CPU and GPU for about an hour. So far, I’ve updated drivers from NVIDIA and tried different settings, but nothing works. I haven’t overclocked. The issue happens when starting the game—sometimes on the first launch, loading screen, or in the menu. Once inside the game, it rarely happens. No logs or warnings appear anywhere. My PC and other apps are stable. What else should I investigate? Best regards.
You might consider reducing the power consumption from the GPU and/or CPU, and observe if it resolves the issue. It could be due to brief spikes in usage. This behavior often happens when the game starts. My setup uses a 7900xt with 13600k and an 850w PSU, which can cause crashes. A 4090 with a 13900k might overload an 1000w PSU.
