Consider Cat6A over Cat7 or Cat8 for better performance. Upgrading to Cat7 or Cat8 could be an option if needed.

Cat7 and Cat8 won't deliver any real benefit. Cat7 needs a TERA connector and doesn't align with ISO standards when paired with anything else. Cat8 supports 25Gbps and 40Gbps over distances up to about 35 meters, but no product on the market will do this in the next five to ten years—likely because of heat concerns.

There’s no certainty Cat7 in stores matches the official Cat7 specs. The same goes for Cat8—Cat6 and Cat6a work just fine. Many people keep being told you only need Cat6a, but it’s not always necessary.
