I just moved from 80 Mbps to 120 Mbps. When I connect directly via Ethernet to my ISP router, it works smoothly at 120 Mbps every time. The issue starts when I connect through an Ethernet connection to the ISP router with an access point—it drops to 80 Mbps. Even when using the AP (via Ethernet), it only gives 80 Mbps. This happens with all my APs. Here’s how it looks: ISP Router - PC = 120 Mbps; ISP Router - AP - PC = 80 Mbps. I need help. I bought a new AP and cables to get full speed in my bedroom, but the device still doesn’t work.

It appears the only ports available are limited to 100Mbps, which means you're likely getting around 80 to 90Mbps after accounting for overhead. There might be a slight increase possible, but you won't reach the full 120Mbps seen on the ISP device because of the port speed constraints.

Check the nearest locations for faster ports. The listed speeds were mentioned in the Tp box—consider upgrading if you need higher performance. Returning your AP isn’t necessary unless you’re satisfied with the current setup.

Need a device with gigabit ports; swapping isn’t an option. I’d exchange it for a better one.
