Check compatibility first—using four 8GB sticks won’t work on the B450 Elite. Stick to two 16GB modules if you want support. Your CPU is R5-3600, motherboard is AORUS Elite, and you currently have 16GB RAM at 2133MHz.

It doesn't matter. However, you need quicker RAM. Your performance is being wasted with an 2133 processor and Ryzen!

You can definitely use 4x8GB RAM, but it depends on the specific device and its specifications. Make sure your hardware supports that amount of memory and check the manufacturer's guidelines for compatibility.

It appears the device can accommodate four DDR4 DIMMs in dual-channel mode, handling memory sizes up to 128 GB. It features support for DDR4 modules operating at speeds from 3600 to 2400 MHz. The system includes ECC protection for certain modules and offers flexibility with both buffered and unbuffered types. For more details on memory capabilities, refer to the "Memory Support List" provided by Gigabyte. This model is compatible with the Gigabyte Aorus Elite rev.1.
