Use Ryzen DRAM Calculator to check your RAM type and suggest optimal settings. Also, download Thaiphoon for detailed specs that you’ll need to enter into the calculator. DDR4 typically operates at 1.2V, while XMP usually targets 1.35V. Some users have achieved 1.4–1.8V on DDR4. I usually stop at 1.35V. If your system runs at 1.2V at 2400MHz, you might be able to push it to 2666 or 2933MHz. Begin with Thaiphoon, input the numbers into Ryzen DRAM Calculator, then apply changes in BIOS. If it doesn’t work, try another set of values from them. If your PC won’t boot, remove the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS. You’ll need software for overclocking Ryzen.
