Considered purchasing oblivion, but it feels a bit outdated for my preferences. I'm a skybaby. Are there any quality graphical overhaul mods that enhance the game and NPCs? What modifications do you recommend to elevate your experience significantly? Which ones are popular among players to boost the gameplay? I’d appreciate knowing the recommended installation sequence for each mod. Thanks! Here are my system details: CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K (3.4GHz, 4 cores), GPU - evga 1050ti, RAM - Kingston Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB), DDR3-1866 memory.

You're completely unaware of what you're diving into. Prepare for a twist. The sheer amount of mod content available for Oblivion is massive. Nearly every mod can be located here, along with instructions on which ones to add and how. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion

Absolutely, even the upcoming day holds great potential for enhancements. It's a common practice in Elder Scrolls to update the game to feel more contemporary over time.

MXR recently posted a video discussing Oblivion modding. Oblivion is the modded version of the original game. Likely, any content from 2008 onward has been adapted into Oblivion.

Most visuals remain intact; the main improvements lie in player models and certain systems that could benefit from modification. Oblivion features a somewhat underwhelming user interface and some confusing progression mechanics—though this isn’t an issue if you opt for the simplest difficulty. Welcome to a genuine TES experience!
