The USB internet/Bluetooth antenna won't help much if your laptop already has good built-in receivers. External antennas usually only matter when those internal ones aren't performing well.

It’s easy to craft a simple meal using aluminum foil. This material also effectively blocks Wi-Fi signals, which is useful for testing.

It's hard to say for sure, but if you're not sure, it might be better to avoid giving any feedback.

It really depends on the situation. I had a friend with a desktop that used a budget Wi-Fi card. His computer was placed far from his router, so I built a big foil dish and attached it behind his desktop. The result was a noticeable boost in Wi-Fi speed. Outside of that, I’m not sure if there are better aftermarket options or if they’d actually help compared to your current laptop.

It varies based on the product you choose. Asus offers high-quality options, but they also come with slower models. The choice should align with your budget.

USB networking devices often perform poorly. They tend to overheat and malfunction. I don’t suggest using them unless there’s no other option. You could consider replacing the WiFi card in your laptop, which might be something worth checking if you’re considering an upgrade. Some laptop makers provide compatibility lists for certain cards.

Even though they don’t refresh that catalog, it’s common for it to include many very old cards.

Her sister's laptop arrived with a weak wireless N card. Many AC cards were included in the package. It seems her laptop was probably made before wireless connectivity became common.

However, when considering alternatives, the Intel AX210 shines if your system lacks a whitelist and accepts a typical M.2 connector. Most of my laptops don’t support it, and even ASUS seemed hesitant about the proposal.
