I wanted to share a fresh option with the community: Good Old Games. Steam has long been the dominant force in PC game sales, but its control over distribution has limited innovation and freedom. This lack of competition means developers aren’t motivated to enhance their services. While Steam performs well in terms of numbers, it restricts choice and enforces DRM on all titles. Good Old Games seeks to restore the past—letting players install games directly onto their systems without restrictions or forced internet access. With their updated 1.2 client, you can easily download an offline installer, place it anywhere, and reinstall it without needing the original software. For more details, check out their website and the introductory video. Enjoy the revival of gaming freedom! https://www.gog.com/

It's a waste of time working with this client, as they mainly handle pre-installed games. The site performs similar tasks more efficiently and effectively.
