I'm considering boosting my RAM capacity because I've reached 15 out of 16GB. I also want more RGB options. I currently have the CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18, which is optimized for AMD but looks similar to a cheaper set for €30 less. Both kits list identical specs on Corsair's site. The only difference is one kit isn't AMD-compatible and may have slightly lower speed, though testing confirms they're the same. Would it make more sense to buy the exact same model or are these essentially the same?
The main variation lies in the SPD configurations. If XMP/DOCP is active, the SPD adjustments are irrelevant—opt for the more affordable option.

I noticed that timing details don't align with the updated ones. It seems they reuse previous numbers but with new hardware. PS: After checking the comments, it looks like a typo was made regarding 32gb timings. Still, the post mentions one kit is AMD-specific while the other works with both.
I've turned on XMP and thought everything would work smoothly since the specs match. Still, I'm cautious about possible compatibility problems and missing out on performance benefits.
