Hello everyone, I’m facing an issue with my Windows 8.1 Pro running Media Center. The upgrade button triggered an unexpected error. I’m wondering if I can download the ISO, run the setup inside it, and install Windows 10 Pro correctly. Also, I’ve checked the Microsoft guide at the link you shared. Will the activation work and keep the files intact? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

It will turn on itself automatically, so make sure your PC stays connected to the internet. Using Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 for activation won’t work since they have different license keys. To discover your key, use the Magical Jelly Bean Key Finder.
