You're seeing this because Windows is trying to install another program at the same time. It might be loading a background update or a system repair before your software can start. Wait for it to finish, then try installing again.

When installing from a disc and opening the installer via Windows Explorer, you might be skipping steps. If Windows attempts to launch the existing install.exe and asks for another instance, it can become stuck choosing which one to use and trigger an error. It’s best to remove the CD, restart your computer, wait a few minutes after logging in, then insert the disc again. Let it run a bit before checking if the executable loads automatically. @ Rob200088

I also don’t use a CD. I downloaded an installer from Google, and when I try to run it it works, but during installation the program says another one is already installed.
