Hey there, your laptop has been working well for about two months now. After installing the Starfield updates, things started to get tricky—bluescreens whenever you run Starfield or anything that needs rendering. VLC and Discord also showed up with bluescreens. You tried swapping out both GFX drivers for NVIDIA and Intel, but it only fixed the issue temporarily. Once you launch a game for the first time, everything works smoothly again. You can play Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty without problems, stream movies in VLC, or watch videos while gaming. The bluescreen only happens occasionally, so it’s hard to pinpoint the cause. If you wait for new driver releases, it might help, but right now it seems like a persistent issue.

We need more details like error codes, hardware specifications, and driver versions. Did you alter any settings in the system? Consider testing a previous GPU driver version to check compatibility.

No changes made yet. Here are your hardware details. If you encounter the BSOD, I’ll capture a photo using DxDiag.txt.

Bluescreens generate a dump file in the c:\windows\minidump directory. There are tools available to examine them and identify which DLL caused the issue.

Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file changes there.

Identified the problem, though I didn't notice any minipumps before. It turned out the M.2 was faulty, and I replaced it—everything is working now.
