//anbox.io/ something I've been looking forward to is that once you install snap and then anbox, it works quickly instead of taking a long time to set up. You can find more details in this Phoronix article https://phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_...-Linux-Box

What do you mean? It's not just a small part—it's a full operating system. I can't remix it.

I work on Android apps. Restarting isn't helpful when launching a single app.

It's about taking advantage of both operating systems. That's exactly what this is meant to do.

They offer everything for free without any noticeable slowdown. The real device issues arise when using ADB commands to push APKs or launch apps.

Many times I needed native applications for Linux. Using Android Studio and a virtual machine on a laptop running on batteries worked well. Keeping a phone plugged in used up its battery, and running a VM also drained power.

I worked on Android projects some time back and built a few apps. It’s clear they don’t perform well. When you connect your phone via USB, it drains the battery faster than usual. Using a wired mouse and keyboard helps extend runtime. If you want more battery life, consider removing those peripherals when not in use.
