It seems Google hasn't announced it publicly yet. I'd be interested in creating a compact PC to use as a base for a custom Android TV setup.

Considering the challenge, it's not practical to run Android on an x86 system unless you're looking for something less serious or using a tablet. A more capable Android option is the Nvidia Shield. This approach resolves portability issues while offering better performance, silence, and affordability.

It mainly stems from Intel removing backing for android-x86. The required drivers vanished, and the project Android-IA was abandoned abruptly around Android 5.1. A few communities tried to keep it alive, such as Remix OS, Phoenix OS, and Bliss OS. The latter receives regular updates. https://forum.xda-developers.com/bliss-r...w-t3855917 The official release remains Android-x86 9.0 Pie https://www.android-x86.org/releases/rel...-0-r1.html
