Considering the challenge, it's not practical to run Android on an x86 system unless you're looking for something less serious or using a tablet. A more capable Android option is the Nvidia Shield. This approach resolves portability issues while offering better performance, silence, and affordability.
It mainly stems from Intel removing backing for android-x86. The required drivers vanished, and the project Android-IA was abandoned abruptly around Android 5.1. A few communities tried to keep it alive, such as Remix OS, Phoenix OS, and Bliss OS.
