Android 4.4 running on a virtual machine with no audio issues.
Hello! You're facing some issues with Android 4.4 on a virtual machine, especially with audio not working. It seems to function fine in Windows and your Android setup but not in the VM. Could you clarify if the microphone is connected properly and if any drivers are missing? Also, check the virtualization settings in your BIOS. Let me know if you need further help!
I use VM player to build and run the virtual machine directly on my desktop PC. I’m confident the audio is turned on in VMplayer and the default host system sound is selected. As mentioned, the microphone functions properly but there’s no audio coming out from the Android virtual machine. I’m still learning virtualization and Android, so I prefer sticking with VMware since it has worked well across various Windows and Ubuntu versions. I’ve noticed some people online reporting the same audio output issue with Android 4.4 on a VM, but no replies have been received so far. Thanks for the responses.
