You have a mix of systems: a modern Mac with macOS, and an older Dell PC running Windows XP. If you replace the hard drive and SSD with Windows 10, it should work fine unless there are hardware limitations. The stuck plate suggests you might need to open the case, but if you're unsure, consider consulting a technician. Your current setup can likely run Windows 10 with minimal changes.

It relies on the specs of your Dell system. Moving from Windows XP to Windows 10 requires more RAM and processing power. Trying to run Windows 10 on a machine with just 2GB of memory will likely cause problems.

A fresh hard drive should function, though it will be quite sluggish. The performance hinges on your system specifications.

It has a dual-core processor, DDR2 memory, and SATA2 connection, making it suitable for an SSD. You might consider using a SATA1 port as well, though other components could be limiting performance. A single-core CPU isn't recommended, and you may find better options by sourcing refurbished PCs from recycling centers.
