An unusual problem concerning vehicle operation within Grand Theft Auto V?
For a while now, GTA V has repeatedly frozen after approximately 40 to 120 minutes of gameplay, often resulting in the "GTAV.exe has stopped responding" message. Initially, I suspected an issue with the game itself, though that possibility remains. However, examining the event viewer revealed consistent entries linked to “nvlddmkm” occurring at the time of crashes, accompanied by warnings detailing the display driver’s response and recovery. Notably, my screen doesn't turn black or exhibit unusual colors during these freezes; only the game is affected. I even tested with Microsoft Flight Simulator on a secondary screen while playing GTA V, and Flight Simulator continued to run smoothly without stuttering during the GTA V lockups. This distinction is key to understanding my problem, as it differs from other reported issues. All drivers are up-to-date and have been completely reinstalled using DDU, and I’ve also restored all overclock settings to their default values, confirming that temperatures are normal. Due to significant financial losses in GTA Online, I’m seeking assistance. System specifications: Intel Core i7 4790k @ 4.7GHz, GTX 1070, 16 GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz, Samsung 850 EVO, two WD 1TB drives.
The following log excerpts highlight the issue:

Your graphics card’s speed might be set too high. Try resetting it to its original settings and running the game with the suggested configurations. I already attempted that, and it was actually my initial step. Now, I'm planning to reduce its speed by approximately 100 MHz and observe if that resolves the issue.
