sorry it's not a reall problem but it annoy me, is there a way i can remove the administrator rights symbol from the icon. i'm using windows 8.1 x64 ! thanks in advance and sorry for that stupid post.

It varies by situation. You could adjust settings so the app doesn't launch with admin privileges via the properties menu, though you'd still need to click right-click and choose Run as Administrator.

You might be able to turn off UAC, but I don't suggest it and it could stop giving you what you need. For more details, check the link about disabling the administrator prompt in Windows 8.

I recognize that, this appears to be the simplest method to possibly address the issue...or to gain access as the concealed admin.

Understand your situation, but removing it won't disable UAC. For example, that file icon you mentioned is linked here.

Ensure your games are running in compatibility mode or as an administrator. Click the icon, choose Properties, navigate to the Compatibility tab, and deselect all options.
