I am planning to construct this system over the next few weeks and I’m considering whether an RTX 2070, which is $100 more expensive than a GTX 1070 currently available on Amazon, would be a worthwhile investment. I intend to play games such as Overwatch, Fortnite, Black Ops 4: Blackout, and also engage in some streaming at 900p resolution with a frame rate of 60.

I’d genuinely attempt to locate a discounted 1080 Ti rather than purchasing those two graphics cards. I’ve observed numerous performance tests indicating that the 1080 Ti frequently surpasses the RTX 2080. While the RTX 2080 occasionally outperforms the 1080 Ti, the difference is typically quite small. Furthermore, I doubt any of your games utilize ray tracing – and even the 2080 Ti experiences difficulty with this technology. Ultimately, I'd suggest keeping your $100.

Whether or not you can allocate that $100 to upgrading your central processing unit will significantly impact your streaming experience, especially considering whether you currently possess an 8700K.

Currently, I lack an 8700k processor, and my spending limit for this build is $1100. I have already acquired a computer case and power supply unit.
