I was curious about whether the upgrade you had in mind would really improve your streaming experience. After reviewing the performance data, the changes don’t seem substantial, and honestly I’m still getting the hang of interpreting those numbers. You were thinking about swapping your i5-8400 and H370M Bazooka for a Ryzen 7 2700X with a B450M Tomahawk. Also, you weren’t sure if your Vega 64 GPU would become a limiting factor with newer Ryzen models. Thanks for the guidance!

It would be great to have it on stream now. The Ryzen refresh starts in September, with a 4000 model coming out in the fall. Why not a 3600 release instead?

Maybe we should look at the budget first.

If you're happy with the streaming quality, hold off on Zen 3. Otherwise, it would still be a good improvement.

You can watch content using the Vega 64, but the visuals might not match what a CPU rendering would produce.
