Video quality from all three tested codecs is excellent; it’s hard to tell apart. Ready to try “True quality” or Visual Equivalent. My test setup: FX-8320e @ 4.21 R9 280 3GB, 16GB RAM, Gddr3 1600, Dxtory Ver. 2.0.133. EDIT 1: I didn’t mention the benchmark settings: Quality: Very High, SSAA: On, Texture filtering: AF 4X, Motion Blur: Off, Tesselation: Very High, VSync: Off, Advanced PhysX: On Edit 2: I forgot to add that. For anyone using the AMD AMF codec, if you’re downscaling recordings, make sure “Multi Device Processing” is enabled in Dxtory Advanced settings. Otherwise, even at 30fps, playback might feel slow—around 5 fps.
For those using the AMD AMF codec, ensure "Multi Device Processing" is turned on in the Dxtroy Adv settings. Without it, recording at 30fps may result in playback at around 5 fps.
