In the clip, the creator examines the chance of the forthcoming AMD CPU with the name Van Gogh and Cézanne. He discusses how an APU measuring 24 cores could fit on a 9-watt chip, noting that even this amount seems substantial for a low-power device, possibly suitable for both compact and larger models. Moore mentions Van Gogh might measure between 200-220 mm², similar to the size of AMD's previous last-generation APU called Picasso. He believes this is typical for AMD to design such units, as they offer premium versions of their Picasso in products like the Microsoft Surface Book. He suggests Van Gogh could appear on devices such as the HP Spectre and Surface Book, potentially challenging Intel's long-standing dominance in thin and lightweight laptops. However, these remarks are personal insights, not directly tied to Moore’s original claims.

Moore also talks about the Renoir APU for laptops, stating it might operate at a higher frequency than Van Gogh but with a larger compute density, which could fully utilize its power. He notes that Van Gogh offers more compute units, while Renoir provides better performance per unit.

Regarding Cézanne, Moore explains the choice of APU Vega over RDNA 2, highlighting its lower die area and efficiency. He argues that using Vega allows AMD to save space, which is crucial for slim laptops like the Dell XPS. He suggests AMD will target multiple market segments with different APUs, rather than focusing on a single one.

Moore compares Intel’s strategy, pointing out their slower release pace with Tiger Lake compared to AMD’s more agile approach. He criticizes Intel’s method as less intelligent and warns that if they had launched a 6-core Tiger Lake with higher performance, it might have matched AMD’s Renoir CPUs.

He emphasizes AMD’s smart choice of using Vega for Cézanne, avoiding unnecessary die space. Moore also mentions software developments aimed at boosting APU speeds, though he hints this could be limited by warranty issues. He warns that future drivers might need updates to handle these changes.

Lastly, he notes that none of the discussed APUs will include HBM, except for the upcoming AMD APU Raphael, which will feature it. He continues with other topics about Intel’s Meteor Lake and encourages viewers to check out his video. The content reflects Moore’s perspective on Moore’s Law, not a direct quote from him.

Like any reports or leaks, this needs to be viewed with caution. Also, "APU" refers to a product line from AMD; Intel does not produce APUs.

It seems uncertain about this. He hasn't been around much, according to what I recall, and most of his videos contain unclear rumors without strong evidence from what I've seen.

Moved to CPUs, motherboards, and memory.
Also, include some breaks here and there to improve readability.
This longer block is now easier to follow.
