Changed from Nvidias 3050 to AMD 6700 recently. Is FSR automatically increasing games beyond their native settings? For example, Apex Legends doesn’t have a built-in option in-game to enable FSR, but the AMD overlay shows it’s upscaling from your monitor’s native resolution. NIS has clear indicators that made it easy to see what was happening. Should I automatically upscale games below their native resolution, or do I need to configure something like Lossless Scaling on my system?

The feature is known as RSR (Radeon Super Resolution) and functions similarly to NIS. It’s a toggle in the driver settings that automatically upscales game output to match your monitor’s resolution. The process employs the same method used by FSR 1.0. While it’s not typically enabled by default, AMD might activate it if it senses games running below your display’s native resolution.

It doesn't activate automatically; I haven't noticed it doing so before. It might be possible to turn it on manually in the driver for each game or all games. You'll likely receive a notification when starting a match indicating you can press Alt+R to open Radeon settings, which you can then use to enable features like RSR or display performance data.

Ensure it is activated within the game's configuration options.
