The Ryzen 7 5700U is Zen2 while the 5800U is Zen3. The Ryzen 7 5700G is Zen3. Surely they could have done a better job and kept the 5700U in the 4X00U naming scheme since there is another Zen 2 APU with Vega 8 graphics like the 5700U.

It remains Vega 8. The G processors no longer include Vega 11, making them inferior to the older Zen and Zen+ versions on desktops.

Otherwise these chips feature Vega 8 as well. The remaining models in the 4X00 lineup use Vega 7 or 6. It’s important to thoroughly investigate before purchasing a build that includes an AMD APU. Intel seems more open about the GPUs they provide with their processors.
