my board is b450 and it doesn't support llc, any other options?
do you have any way to enable auto overclocking on? when i was setting up on an asus board, i had to manually choose "keep current settings" since the built-in testing mode would adjust values automatically. also, ryzen master only retains the oc settings for one boot cycle, it's mainly a software tool for testing and won't preserve your profile after another reboot, at least based on my experience.
It appears there isn't any auto overclocking available. There might be other reasons why the voltage reduces to auto when the system starts up in cold conditions.
Is there a bug with the BIOS? I've tried updating it, but I'm not sure if my instability is connected to virtualisation.
Activating virtualization is a common BIOS configuration, and this adjustment typically doesn't impact CPU stability. (It's not a major issue during startup, and virtualization methods like Type1 or Type 2 don't introduce significant stress compared to the operating system itself.)
I've focused the issue on the Vcore voltage returning to auto during a cold start, despite the overclock remaining stable. Any suggestions?
Try 3.6 with the same voltage, if the behavior stays consistent, the team can make progress; if the problem resolves, we'll understand the next steps. Also, does the CPU use a 4-pin or 8-pin connector? What is the memory's frequency in MHz?
