Hey, I just assembled my PC today. I carefully linked all the cables. When I powered it on, I was surprised by how hot the processor gets—reaching up to 90°C when idle. The AIO produces sound from the liquid flowing through the connections, and the RGB lights are working fine. In the BIOS, the AIO pump speed is listed as N/A / A. What does this mean? Could it be causing the high temperature? Did I apply too much thermal paste or is the cooler not properly seated on the CPU? Please help me! Excessive thermal paste has minimal impact on performance, yet at 90°C during idle it wouldn’t affect the CPU. The AIO might not be fully connected, or the seal isn’t secure.
Do you feel the engine's sound? Is the entire block functioning properly?
I’d also consider remounting it, just in case we don’t find anything wrong.
You won't be able to see anything clearly right now. I plan to try again tomorrow. The old SSD inside the PC still had Windows installed, so it might affect performance. Updating the BIOS could help too. I also captured a picture of the BIOS—check it for any unusual entries. It seems the ‘aio pump speed’ isn’t showing up, which is odd.

Hey, I've faced the same problem with my setup too. After more than a year of use, it keeps showing the same temperature error and reports 90 degrees. I'm using a LianLi Galahad 360 with pull/push settings. The temperatures drop unexpectedly, even though I've changed the thermal paste and set fans to 100%. It's really puzzling. Could this be a software issue? I'm going to investigate further and let you know what I find.
