AMD Ryzen 5 5600X under extreme heat conditions
CPU temperatures are rising above 90°C in TF2 and around 60°C under BIOS, despite updates to BIOS, Windows, drivers, and thermal paste. I'm considering replacing the thermal paste but want to check if others have found a fix. System details: Arch OS, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Asus TUF RTX 3070, Tforce 8x2GB DDR4-3200, Gigabyte B550M S2H SSD, Intel SSDPEKNW010T9 (1TB NVMe), NZXT Kraken M22 cooler.
I think it looks pretty bad. Have you confirmed everything is set up correctly? The fan should be installed properly and there shouldn’t be any air pockets in the wrong spots. Please share a photo if you’d like help reviewing it.
