The new 5000 series APU featuring a 6-core/12-thread setup with Radn7 integrated graphics is now on the market. Should we opt for this instead of a non-integrated CPU during the current GPU price increases? And when prices drop, should we invest in a dedicated GPU?

Just do what you want, 5600G is marginally worse than 5600x because it has fewer lower clocks and less cache. Still, it remains a solid CPU.

You can proceed using your computer while the GPU is out of stock.

If you're looking for a good value, the GT 1030 is a solid choice. It offers a decent CPU at a fair price, and its built-in graphics perform adequately without being poor.

I think they meant RDNA2, but it doesn’t. The 5600G runs on Vega graphics, which is decent for integrated graphics but not the newest. It matches a 3600 in CPU power, which isn’t great, though it’s better than the 5700G. The 5700G is a stronger choice if you need an APU, comparable to a 5600X.
