Your system runs an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS. You're seeing a max CPU boost clock of 4250MHz instead of the manual value you expect. To get higher boost speeds, you may need to adjust the Max CPU Boost Clock Override manually or increase it to around 400MHz as suggested. Performance Enhancer can help maintain boost frequencies longer, but ensure your Vcore settings are appropriate. With Curve Optimizer set to -50, -100 is a safe value if you're aiming for stability rather than pushing extreme performance. Consider tweaking other settings like Core Ratio or thermal management for better results.

The maximum boost clock is 4.2 GHz. I wouldn't exceed it, and it's interesting you can push these high with the current design. While I'm not criticizing, my belief is the 5500 handles things differently from the other 5000-series chips. It does offer PBO support, so leveraging that might be more effective.

It's unexpected how easily the CPU can be boosted. It feels like a hidden tool, but I'm not aware of any restrictions.
