Hi, I installed a Ryzen 3 1200 CPU and a Gigabyte A320M-S2H motherboard with 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 at 2400MHz. The machine keeps randomly shutting down due to memory management issues. I ran MemTest86 using a USB boot device and encountered these errors:

- 2020-05-27 22:03:25 - [Data Error] Test: 9, CPU: 2, Address: 4155B5348, Expected: 05AD612C, Actual: 01AD612C

It seems the system is failing to recognize memory correctly. Have you checked the RAM for any signs of damage or proper installation? Also, ensure all connections are secure and try resetting the BIOS. If the problem persists, consider checking the motherboard or contacting support. Let me know what you find!

The first-gen Ryzen models often faced problems with RAM compatibility. Have you attempted to start the system using just one memory stick in single-channel mode?

Thank you for the update. Tested on Windows with a single-channel stick—no blue screen detected. Will recheck tomorrow to confirm everything is stable, lol.

Great! I'm ready to assist. If the system runs smoothly with just one stick in place, it suggests a possible RAM compatibility problem. I recommend checking your motherboard manual and experimenting with various stick setups. Should the issue persist, reaching out to AMD or Corsair support would be a good next step. Good luck!
