Purchased an AMD Ryzen 2600 with a motherboard and GPU for 50 euros. The CPU-MO-Boost works well, but the XFX 580 8GB causes artifacts in its performance. I swapped it with an MSI 570 OC 8GB, though it has faulty memory chips now. Artifacts are worsening, making it hard to see the display clearly. Should I replace the memory controller or is there a BIOS timing issue? It looks cool with its old GPU, but I’d like to try reviving it for fun. Currently running an RX 580 8GB 2048x and it works fine at 1080p. My guess is the memory controller failed, or maybe the GPU core gave up. The card shows no signs of damage, so I could reball the 570’s core and install it on the 580. Would a BIOS reflash help, or should I just keep it on display?
