Hi everyone.
I've been experiencing issues with my CPU downclocking when under load.
All power-saving options are disabled, including Turbo core settings.
Still, the downclocking happens.
Previously, the processor would run smoothly at 4.0GHZ overclock, but once it hit load, it dropped to just 1.6GHZ, making games extremely difficult.
It seems the problem has persisted. Do you think this might be a sign of something serious? Or are there other steps I could take?
Thanks!

sounds like a temperature issue then. Can you check out your cooling situation and monitor your temps. The CPU will automatically downclock itself to prevent it from burning out.

It's not working as expected with the Corsair H80i cooling setup, and the underclocking doesn't reach the desired 45th percentile.
